well, guys, i’m definitely feeling the end of winter slump. just when i thought the snow was gone and spring was here, we got another healthy pile of it.
good news! i was feeling inspired by my newest lou lou magazine and needed to get out of the house, so i decided to go for a little end of season sale shop! after all, sweater weather/autumn is my favourite time of year; i love bundling and layering, wearing plaids, browns & burgundy, feeling comfy and cute. i figured it’s a good time to grab up some affordable winter clothing. challenge accepted!
as a final farewell to winter, i had a little retail therapy and had an under $100 haul at the tanger outlet in cookstown. i’m not sure if i’m just still in winter mode, or just in clearance rack mode, but i got some fall and winter classics staples [almost all] on clearance.
sweater: H&M $20
tunic tee: H&M $13
purse: aldo $35
scarf: aldo $10
socks: aldo $3/2 pack
necklace: H&M $6
earrings: H&M $7
i never buy myself new purses [ask the purse that i have been using for years & years & years] so when i saw this cute suede number with fringe, i was all in! camels & caramels are my favourite for purses, shoes & belts. as for the sweater, it is oversized and soft with great little slits on the side to keep it modern. the black tunic will be a great addition to my staples and i can’t wait to pair it with a great necklace!
although i can’t wait for warmer weather, part of me wishes it would hold off just a little while longer so i can live in this knitted, comfortable heaven. it is my happy place!
have a wonderful wednesday!
