peppermint & lavender bath salts

ugh, mondays.

the day that even that third cup of coffee won’t do it and the week ahead seems long and dreadful.

for you suffering from monday morning slumps, i have found the best solution.
i present to you, relaxation at its best:

peppermint & lavender bath salts

recipe adapted from wellness mama

you will need:

  • 2 cups epsom salts
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup sea salt
  • 35 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 15 drops of peppermint essential oil
  • purple food colouring [optional]

instructions:

  1. mix all ingredients together
  2. store in a mason jar or baggie and use 1/2 cup per bath
  3. enjoy!

i love salt baths as they are great for reducing stress, headaches, and relieving achy muscles. do yourself a favour and create a bathroom oasis. pour a glass of wine, light some bath and body works candles & melt into a fragrant and relaxing tub.
